This is a great short film by Shane Mok of a modeler in Singapore, Bernard Cher, about the nature of the hobby and what it means to some people.

Too many times people focus on some ones work pointing out something they feel as in error with the subject. Rather than the point of being the builders view of what they want to portray.

Outstanding...well done. If nothing returns us to the humble practice of simply building a model to enjoy that this video represents, then nothing will. Brings me back to the modeling table with a whole new out look.

I have been away from the hobby for a few months now and seeing this video inspired me. I plan to get back at it soon.

I think we all share Bernard's passion. Sometimes we need to step back and remember it's just a hobby(very few of us make a living at it)and that it's supposed to be fun and a way to relieve stress not the cause of it.
