And herre's one for you Tuga What is it Poland?,... Nope Tahiti prior to the French intervantion of 1880!!

I would have guessed it was Austria, or Latvia. Why can't people think of anything more original than that?

Your right Nic, but that was in Tahiti in 1880, maybe they didnt have much selection wise as far as colours go. I think Seyschelles has them all beat with their rainbow flag, or maybe this one due to its original size and shape?,
Nepal

Or this one:
Seychelles

or this one
Bhutan

That's great, Jack. Might I also put in a request for Swaziland? Soon, people will be coming to this site and using it as a flag reference. Jim, make a new forum that's just for discussing flags...............Okay, okay, maybe not .

My question is this; Why are the Netherlands ranked so high in the modeling community in general? I have observed several model shows both on the web and in magazines and the Netherlands almost always feature prominently. Not only that, but their models are absolutely stunning! Seriously, there is a very talented group of people in that part of the world. Some of the dio's I've seen are magnificant....great stuff indeed.
Sorry.......just curious.

I don't have the answer but a couple of Dutch friends have told me that Twenot has a larger membership than AMPS.

You have to tell us what kind of flag you are showing, Jack, or it isn't that educational. If anyone was wondering, it's Papua New Guinea .

But, now, for my all time, favorite:

Libya! Beautiful in its simplicity, and so symbolic.

Yes Nic,

Your right, I knew I sholud have listed it, but I wanted to stump you a bit.
Libya is "interesting" however Atrocious in their politics, and what does the green stand for there is no flora (that I am aware of) in Libya. Here's another with appropriate designation:

This is Tibet it ties in nicely with my Zen thread, Maybe I'll post it there?

Jack That's me saluting in Tibet

Thanks for the stats Jim!

Altho' I'm sad to see I'm the only guy from India, and we're the second biggest democracy in the world !

Oh well, looks like I'll have to be the flag bearer for IPMS here . Haven't really seen any Indian PM groups anywhere either!

Rgds,
BP.

Hey BP, it is not so bad when you are the only ArmoraManiac from some "strange" country... People want to know things about your country and you get to know them better. I have made many friends here and I guess many were somehow "drawn" to me because they wanted to know what are things like in Croatia, are there some local modeling clubs and so on...
So, don't be embarrased by being the "only guy" from India... instead, enjoy your uniqueness..

The Old Principality of Seborga is located in the back hills of Liguria, the famous Italian Flowers' Riviera, minutes from the motorway Nice/Genova.
