I want to try my hand at painting German splinter camo in large scale and not sure what kit to get the Tamiya figure or the Dragon figure.

What kit is better?

Been away from WWII stuff for a while because model armor was getting far too expensive so I have turned my attention to large scale figures and thought these kits would be a good starting point to practice on.

Thanks
Karl

I'm not familiar with the Tamiya figure, but the Dragon one has very nice detail and good facial features. Some putty work will be necessary, but not too much.

I always choose Dragon.

I have assembled the Tamiya figure, but not yet started painting it.
Very nice detail, everything fits nicely together. The Tamiya 1/16 figures are highly recommedable.
