Thank you Armorsmith. I will definitely be doing a blue filter once this base coat dried for a solid day or so.

Thank you for the kind comments.

I'm not sure if the camera is picking it up, but I applied a blue filter. I can definitely see it in person and it looks nice. Thanks to my buddy for the advice on that.

Yikes! Good thing I finished off the tracks today. Don't think I will be using Masterclub again, too much drilling for my taste!

Dustin, looks good!

I have wheels, detail parts and the abysmally soft rubber band tracks, and my Valentine should be done.

Been busy with the Poland 1939 campaign (working three campaigns simultaneously may be too much) and painting the living room and stairwell in the house, but have managed to get base color on the Australian medium recon vehicle and have the YPR-765 ready for its coat of OD.
I am not looking forward to masking the MRV turret as I am painting in a three color camo. I have to wait to mount the flotation cells on the sides of the YPR-765 until after I install the wheels and tracks. Should finish both by end of March. The vegetable awaits after that. Average last frost in Middle Tennessee is 15 April.

There has been a lot of great building happening while I have been elsewhere...need to hurry my two builds.
Mark C - great white paint job on the Scorpion...white is a tough color.
Dustin - Like your Stryker...those are huge vehicles.
Matthew- nice work on the interior in your M36...almost called it an M10. good job on weathering the interior without going too far. Having been a tanker, we kept the interiors of our vehicles as clean as possible whenever we were in an assembly area long enough to do some house keeping.
Linus - your Centurion turned out good
Sean - I am jealous of your Dorchester...I have been wanting to install an interior in A M577A1 for years..yours is an inspiration.

3 campaigns at once is not too bad, just be sure not to accidently paint the Living room in Camo....

Hahah. It is extremly ambitious. I must admit, I have a feeling there may be a couple that I may not complete, but I'm not throwing in the towel just yet.

I'm often a non-finisher in campaigns (I expect not to finish this one either) that I try to limit myself to one campaign at a time plus the Unfinished Builds campaign (for the huge backlog of started kits I have).

Colin, Iain, Clatyton and Jeff....

Thanks for your comment, they're greatly appreciated.

So..... getting there. Basic base, got to blend it in a bit with dust and stuff, redo stuff which has become apparent in photos such as under the tarps. Add some aerials and associated wiring, wing mirrors and smaller bits.
All in all a great kit I think and I may even finish in time

By the way, there are three colours...

Cheers

A lot of great building happening in the campaign's last month. Had a short break from building to paint the walls and ceiling in the stairwell, living room and hallway. Its a lot more work than painting models
Before I start on the trim and seven doors in the house I am taking a break to catch up on my two builds. I have got the second color on the Australian M113A1 MRV.

There is some touch up required but some will be covered by the third color. The theory is that you paint the lightest color first and I normally do that. However, on this build the base color is dark green with everything below the sponsons being dark green, it was easier masking wise to paint the green first. After I apply the black camo color I will then be able to line up the pattern on the turret, swim vane and swim skirts. Now to get gloss coat on the single color YPR-765 for some "weathering" steps and decal application.

Daniel, that's cool looking. You better make swift progress because there is less than one month until the end of the campaign.

Thanks Dustin and Marc, I was inspired to try out the snow thing for the first time by some photos of this and other Nashorns in winter action on the Eastern front, pretty happy so far, but think I need to get a crew for it (eek! Figures!😁).

Daniel, you'll really have to crack on with that Uhu with less than 4 weeks left, good luck!
