This is dragon's new Wittmann tiger 1 kit. I decided to add a partial interior from spare parts and left overs. I know some aspects of the interior are not accurate, but, it was fun building and painting. please feel free to comment.

I'm a little surprised to see you using photo-etch side fenders in perfect condition. I thought that modellers would only spend that money if they wanted to bend and damage the parts?

Guilty as charged, LOL!

Actually, the PE fenders are better for "new" builds, too, since they are closer to the scale thickness than most styrene fenders.

I just like the way it looks. Something about the way photo etched parts look on an unpainted model just appeals to me. Although, when painted, i am sure it would look better than the plastic kit fenders.

Hi Nicholas,

Great work so far, very clean, too.

One note though, I think you may have removed way too many road wheels

I may be wrong, but missing so many roadwheels would have hampered the Tiger's movement

Of course, there is always the chance you have not installed all the wheels yet (I can see two attachment points waiting to have a wheel attached to them), which makes my observation obsolete!

Nonetheless, nice work, looking forward to an update!

You guessed right, i haven't installed all of the wheels for the photo. call it laziness! lol. I usually don't glue them in place until after i painted them. Makes things much much easier. Thanks everyone for looking and for commenting.
