I suppose a M48 would fit the bill, this gives me a reason.

Would love to get in on this one, but I don't think I could fit another campaign in that early in the year.

Was I a little too eager there? My Patton is giving a rebel yell.

I'm really looking forward to my Abrams. I have a couple of campaign builds to clear off of my bench, first. I always try to go bigger for campaigns. This one will be oob.

Well this looks right up my alley. I have a ton of US vehicles to build from Shermans to M1A2s> I'm in the hardest part will be picking a kit.

Well I decided to build a slick M60 using one of my Academy M60A1 hulls rendered obsolete by AFV Club and the Chesapeake conversion turret. I think I'll paint it in MASSTER cammo.

Thanks can't wait to start. It should be fun. I've had the turret for years better use it before AFV makes the kit.

I'm in and to do something completely different I'll be trying some metal kits of Revolutionary War and Civil War cannon and crews.

Hi All,

This is my second post and I would be interested in my first build. If recruiting is still open, I'd like to throw my hat in the ring; braille scale of course.

Cheers,

Sure thing, Joe. Enlistment is open, until the end of the campaign. I look forward to seeing your build.

I was going to do an Academy Humvee but instead I might do a Italeri 1/72 M4A1 Sherman I got a few Christmases ago. It's not my normal scale but it gives me an excuse to build it. If time allows I'll toss in something else.

Well the game is afoot as Holmes says. I have changed direction and I'm going with the ever ubiquitous Sherman. While going though the stash I found I have 14 Sherman kits and several add ons. Now I have to pick an M4 variant.

Thanks, Tom. I dove right into the etch and butchered it. Then, I realized that it was interior details, though there is no interior available.

I'm still debating Shermans, Tamiya early M4, Dragon M4A1 early, M4A1 76, M4A3E8 WW2, Tamiya late M4A3, M4 105. I have 6 campaigns going for the next year so I want to keep it a bit easy.
