I started this a wee while back, although 90% done, I have a little bit of detailing to do and a bit more shading.
Any comments are welcome.

Thanks

Pete

Thanks Giovanni
I have done a little more but I have been waiting for the oils to dry properly. I have done the 2 airborne patches on his arms, I will update pics soon.

Hi Peter,
Thanks for sharing your work in progress so far, loooking good
I know when you get this kit from Ian at friendship models there isn't a pile of references available in the box.

If you don't mind me suggesting I would definately push the brown tones of his shoes to a lighter shade, and his socks are a very pale, almost buff colour.

I'm Looking forward to seeing him finished!

Have you got his medal ribbons sorted?,
if not, I can send you a photo of his full set.
Regards
Paul

Hi Paul thanks, yeah the only references I got were mainly online. I have done most of the patches and badges now but yes I would appreciate pics of the ribbons. I will do some more work on the shoes and his socks. I wasnt sure about the socks so took a guess and did them the same as present day squaddies socks.
Thanks again for the comments Paul and I look forward to the ribbon pics.

Nearly finished. Thanks to Paul for the pics of Paddy's medal ribbons. The figure now has a matt coating and it just needs a few finishing touches.

Thanks Pete

Hey man

Nice piece, it really looks well.

Is it the metal cast chair?

The resin one kept collapsing on mine !

Hi Paul Happy New Year my friend ( a bit early but off to bed soon as up for work in 3 and a half hours)

The chair is the resin one and seems okay apart from the legs not being level. I will sand them on a board to level them off and he should sit a bit better on the chair. I plan on joining IPMS in the new year so will join up with you guys and maybe even join you at Telford this year if you are going.

May 2015 be the best modelling year ever for all.
