Hi guys, this is my recently finished M1a2 SEP V2.
Base kit is Dragon's 3536,plus V2 resin conversion parts from DEF model.
M1a2 PEs are from ET model.Tracks are from Bronco, with a 0.6mm hole drilled in each pin.
Painted with Vallejo Nato Green and Tamiya acrylic Nato Brown/black.
Washed with MIG/AK enamels and pigments.

and...sorry for the low-quality pictures because of the limited gallery space...T_T

I second Jamal opinion about your both nice Abrams.
What did you use for the reflective coat of the vision blocks?

Hi,Olivier
The stickers on the command coupla of the SEP V2 are from DEF conversion set,and the rest are from AFV CLUB. The color seems to be a little bit different.

Hello Jason,

I really do like your Abrams (actually both of them). Nice painting and weathering, very realistically done. How did you achieve the faded camouflage colors?

Thanks for presenting the Abrams here on Armorama. Do you have the images in a larger resolution available, too? You mentioned the limited webspace over here, that's why I'm asking.

Thank you,
Johannes

Very nice. I have the same sets and plan on building one as well. How about adding some bumper numbers to them though. The camo one could be from 1-72 AR in Korea. The sand one could be almost any stateside AR unit, your choice.

You did a lovely job on this. I have a couple of the M1A2 SEP and 2 of those DEF sets in my stash, I hope mine look as good as yours.

I've been thinking about the Bronco tracks, they certainly lok the part on your model.

Hi Johannes.
Glad you like my work.
About the faded camo, i washed the model with a mixture of MIG light dust, Tamiya enamel XF-57 and X-20 enamel thinner.
If you like higer-resolution pictures, maybe i can send you some by email?

Love it, great work and I'm jealous! I'm just about done with mine, used the Blast Models conversion. Looks like the DEF version comes with the new wheel hubs and other goodies. Great work dude

Really, really nice work! Not to split hairs, but I do have one question regarding the one Jerry can: is that an orange Class 1 label on the one on the left? If so that is for Explosives, not Flammable liquids; it should be red and white like the other one....I notice stuff like that because I was part of a US Coast Guard Haz-mat Detachment that advised Army units on proper haz-mat documentation and labeling for stuff being deployed

A not-tan Abrams. They both look great but NATO tri-color is a rainbow compared to the boring, ever-present tan we're seeing so often.

Well done.

Very nice! I can only hope the Abrams tanks I build come out even half as good.
