Spammer reported by Russ had been hammered by another sanitation patrol.
I took great pleasure in hammering the one reported by Tom though

This is one of my favorite threads on the old forum. Is it the case that the new forum will not have spammers? I guess that's a plus, but I so enjoy watching Robin take his bayonet to these guys that I can't but see it ultimately as something of a loss....

It is more of a 'behind the scenes' operation in the new forums.
1. User suspects spammer at large
2. User flags post to get moderator attention
3. Mods get a private message
4. Mods terminate spam account

I'm not sure if the user who flagged the spammer gets any feedback.

It's more efficient but I will also miss the slightly medieval touch of the "public executions"
