Ok, we have enough interested members, let's send a proposal then.

I heard the guy running the show is pretty easy going.

Sounds Good! I'm sure I can find something all 8-wheeled and stuff in my stash... And high time I build one of these things with rubber donuts underneath - do some wheels instead of tracks after tracks after tracks!

EDIT: BTW... I like that BM-27 better than the BM-21!

Thanks Tony, but I WISH I was building the 27... I'd dump that BM-21 Grad I started for IT in a hurry!

No, I'll be entering the Trumpeter KZKT-537L Tractor:

(and I gotta get tires/wheels for it too)

Thanks John! If I were you, I'd go RUSSIAN all the way. Much better looking vehicles and look better finished out than desert yellow all the time! LOL

I know many are questioning why I am joining yet another Campaign when I have trouble finishing them. Well, I think it's important to keep trying, keep pushing and not give up. The camaraderie here keeps me interested than doing a solo build on my own.

But I do wish some that I have had the pleasure of building with returned to us but I understand. Nothing stays the same.

Just saw one Stryker in desert yellow, all others were NATO greenish

I don't question it Jeff, I agree with you, don't give up, keep pushing and having fun.
If you don't make it, no problem !

John I'd go with one of the Strykers. Why? Well you have 9...might as well build one of them right. I dodged the Stryker frenzy but I've built one Stryker and really enjoyed it.

Jeff, No problem with the not finishing thing. Everyone has to set their own pace. I'm actually shifting away from campaigns in favor of building old shelved projects. What you can do is lead campaigns. You usually do a good job running them.

Thanks for the kind words Alex. I like leading them and getting a Campaign through to the end. That is most of the time when I can.

My favorite Stryker is the MGS! And no... I haven't bought one (thank gawd) so that's one less kit to stare at! LOL

Just signed on. I should be finished with my current campaign well before this kicks off. Have a few 8X8s in the stash: a 234 Puma, a LAV and a vanilla Styker. Lots of time to decide. I have an MGS nearly finished AFV does nice work.

... however the Faun SLT-56 is only an 8x6 .

Ohlala,

I've chosen it 'cause I saw it in 8 wheels. So, I will take another, maybe BTR-60 BP Upgrade.

Thanks for your opinions.
Cheers.

Never been involved in a campaign before, but would like to try, so I have signed up. I have several candidates in the stash, BTR-60/70/80, Stryker but the one that I will probably do is the Revell Luchs.

I will allow the Faun, it has 8 wheels, no traction on all 8 but just 6, no problem.

I think I'm going to peel the plastic film off my KZKT-537L Tractor from Trumpeter and fondle the styrene.

I read where there is NO engine so it looks like a treasure hunt for one!

That will be a hawt one there Chris! And I appreciate all the related 537 links too. I've always wanted one but more that just a truck with a 5th wheel PLUS, I don't have room for the trailer so my kit will work perfectly... just gotta get some wheels soon. I am looking forward to this than the Panther Tank Campaign. My entry will be a lot of work but this will be all fun.

Speaking of wheels, I still have that VAB 6X6 kit to build. You know, the one where YOU got all the resin tires from BLAST for me. The suspension was a disappointment for me so I wanted to spend more time with it and never returned to it. LOL

Didn't get very far so it would be perfect for a 6X6 Campaign.

I also found this:

This will be a future project of mine now that I see it's a 5X5.
