Yes, there's slight sheen on the uniforms, don't know why, Vallejo paints are matte by default, maybe is the lighting . Although in the end I will apply some pigments and effects to blend the camo and give a weathered look, if necessary matte varnish will be applied.

I have had the same problem with Vallejo paint. What I do now is remove the cap from the bottle and mix the paint thoroughly before I use it. I now have no problems with shiny-ness.

I've managed to make homemade static grass applicator for under 6-7 euro, bug zapper itself is around 4. Static grass is 6mm, but works also with 10mm.
There are many tutorials on the Internet, Youtube incl., so I will be quick
Here's how it looks, pretty satisfying I think. I'm still experimenting, so the result may vary

I love the Tiger, but you probably knew that already It just looks HUGE! The grass though looks totally realistic, I've got to give that a shot without frying myself hahaha.

Enhancing some highlights/shadows, very subtle again, not so much. Also some dusting and fading of the uniforms, not to look like brand new.

Thanks, I've seen that, but prefer to make it myself (I like scratching things, it's more unique) and it's cheaper.

Just found that TreeMendus makes a very nice apples set, they will be enough for several trees

I've made small experiment with roots, I think looks realistic. The other option is with wire and and modelling clay, but will be more time consuming
What do you think, how it looks?

Foliage added, some of the leaves are put individually for more realistic appearance. Apples are next.
