I am probably going to post some event pictures that include Duane when I get home tonight. He was a friend and an anchor for all of us. We are going to miss him!

Nope - this one is just a visitor during a reenactment. The Patton's 251 has the short barreled 75mm mounted.

That pak wagon is a pretty unique one to have. Was it in running order or did it get delivered?

The finished, restored 251/9 left the Museum as a runner when it was transfered to Benning. Sadly I personally never got to see it finished.

Yep, the Hetzer is a runner too!

p.s. The Schwimmwagen is a runner - the Marder and the 8-rad are for static display only. Cannot say regarding the Duster but I think it is a runner. The other German halftracks shown are reenactment day visitors to the Museum and are obivously runners.

Sorry for the poor quality of some of these photos. A few years back the computer files of my post-film digital phtography covering the Patton became corrupted. Many of my Patton photos were lost. In some cases I have been able to download low resolution copies from other websites where they had been posted.

I now back up all my digital photography both to my main computer and to an external hard drive plus many of my photos are now stored in the cloud at sites like Photobucket. I am about to set up an arrangement where a copy of ALL my digital photography will be available in the future from cloud storage.

The Museum's Panzer III, again a Patton Museum AFV restored to RUNNING condition!

I believe as it turned out the Pz. III was mainly in need of replacement radiators so a couple of brand new Audi radiators were nearly an OEM original equipment drop in! However the vehicle was still given a turret and decks off full restoration!
