Finally!!

Wait....yup, I did say it!!!! FINALLY this is done!!!

First, I want to thank everyone for following along with this build!! I did drag things out a bit long and appreciated the patience with me!!

Second - This was originally a build associate with my review of the kit here on Armorama which resulted in a Feature I wrote and has been posted. If you feel so inclined to, you can swing by and check out my write up and a whole bunch of piccies I have mangled together to make the Feature.

Armorama Feature: https://armorama.kitmaker.net/features/5492

As i mentioned a couple time above......FINALLY!! :shifty:

Thanks again for all the support along the way!! Back to the bench now!!

Absolutely wonderful job on the big beast. It was fun to follow and I'm glad you made it into a feature as well. I'm sure it will serve as a great reference for all those building Meng's D9R.

Cheers,
Mario

WOW, that is a great model build and the kit seems to be a really good one. I have been thinking about getting this but now I know I want it.

Thanks for posting and love the weathering you did.

Great build Sir, looks way better than mine. I used Friul tracks on my Doobi, I think they look better.

Valkyrie miniatures do a 3 man US crew set for the the Doobi and also have an IDF set in the pipeline.

Hey Todd I think these D9R's by Meng are one of the most dramatic models on the market and yours is one of the best I've seen. I just started mine a week ago and still have painting and weathering decisions to make but i'm so impressed with Meng. This is my 4th kit by them and they just keep getting better. You have a nice balance overall and really one to be proud of. I hope you don't mind but I reference your WIP often, not so much to pick up tips, but for inspiration. It shows me what this beast will be like when i'm done.

Any thoughts on doing a board with it? It begs for a nice layout.

Todd thanks again for the layout, its one of those that will be around for a long time. So Cool.
Terry
