How does everyone feel about a strictly Trucks Only Campaign? To be fair, commercial and private trucks to be included too but primarily targeting Military Trucks.

Start date would have to be next year and the run time to be determined but after watching "Modern Marvels" today on the History Channel, I felt as though some of our big wheeled fans are being left out.

This may take a few days to digest and adjust so let's talk about it as I know we all have some Maz kits, HEMTT and Dodge trucks that could be shown right here.

Sounds good Paul. I have that DML MAZ-543 with the SCUD B I want to tear into so bad... and it's a truck for sure.

Unless I get that Mirror Models truck, or that KZKT-57L TRACTOR, always wanted the M977 8X8!

Even an M3 is on a truck chassis. Plenty of modern choices and then there's all the WWII stuff.

Jeff I would like to be in on this one too but will the vehicles have to be totally unstarted? How hard and fast are these requirements? (Sorry I am new to this.)

I already started a Scud conversion into an airport crash truck, the MAZ-543 AA-60 and I have the MAZ-537 tractor with full engine started as well.

As far as future projects go I will also have the MAZ 543 (Scud Tel.) being converted to a tractor. It is only in the planning stages right now and not started at all however that project probably won't get off the ground for a very long time.

Mike

p.s. I am sure I can come up with something. (Just not as BIG as the ones listed above.)

With all th enew modern armoured-cab vehicles hitting the shelves this sounds good...count me in.

Would a gun-truck conversion be acceptable?

You bet!

Michael buddy... we'd better keep this for new, unstarted kits only. I appreciate your interest and those very interesting projects! Hope you can still join in.

So we have 7 so far with 2 on the fence?

Okay! We're gonna rock now! Thanks everyone for supporting this.

I'll work on a proposal here in a minute. Trust me, it'll be short and sweet and to the point too.

The main thing is we all start with a unstarted kit and have fun.

Hi Jeff,

You started with " Extreme trucks"...........
But could you define this, since some partipants mentioned standard trucks like Opel.
This is OK to me, but " extreme " may create other expectations?
I consider my Faun Tank Transporter, though quite impressive, as a standard army vehicle.
Extreme to me is a ballistic missile carrier and alike.
But: you started this campaign, so you make the rules. Logic to me, without any discussion.

Pls., advise.

And no offence to all earlier anwers.
