Hi All,

I thought I would also post some pics of my ZSU 23-4. It has the Kirin interior and modelkasten tracks. Enjoy.

Best regards

Ian- that is a real solid model you have there. Its nice to see this in Iraqi colors rather than the usual Russian green. From what I can see of the interior it looks great- any chance you could get a bit closer to the hatches and get some one or two more interior shots- I'd certainly like to see them!
I particularly like the way you've opened the access hatches on the turret for the guns, its nice to show that hardware off!

My only criticism would be that some of the rusting looks a little 'predictable'- I think there are too many of the big scratches and not enough build up of smaller ones around them but having said that I think it captures the idea of the flaking paint that was so common on Iraqi vehicles very well.

Very nice. Its not often you see one with an interior. I agree with Karl 187, some detail pics of the interior would be good.
Thanks

Would be very good ...
But: the machine gun cooling pipes (Part One) unity in this version of the machine gun, not painted because you burn it.
Lack the protective cap from the gun.
The gun metal black, gun color.
The Crab forward with ammunition, in reality, but the lack of liquid cooling system and the compressed air tanks.
The covers (ammo space) is quite difficult, you are not vertically, to be supported (it would be life-threatening), and incomplete (there is a cold sighter boards, and other things attached to it).
The tower manhole covers are not physically possible to open more vertical.
The radar vertical drive mechanism is an optical unit with which the system can be set, it is parallel to the direction of the antenna beam, vertical than you.
Right side of the tower, is missing a rib, and not the chassis stiffening ribs, but this production error.
The Iraqis did not use rescue bark.
Finally, the 23mm cartridge case is not copper-colored.
The green sleeves, black body of the projectile, it is a brass band.
The vehicles were painted GREEN Iraqis, and this blew the sand color.
The entire vehicle body part why the worn brown?
Where's the green?
The gas turbine engine exhaust and a nice clean, but the reality is very sooty.

I do not disparage your work, but the errors I have described.
Feel free to ask someone who knows these vehicles (such as me).
I can help you!
Regards, Gábor.

Hi John,

I do think that it is a neat looking kit!! Syrian colours will look good. Juge provides some excellent points - I will make some modifications based on his input!. The Kirin interior is long out of production - I managed to get one on ebay (but I had to sell a kidney to fund it ). They don't come up very often. I think Juge is doing an ammo bay under the Company called HAD (Juge - any update?)

I think I still need to work on my weathering and chipping - such a hard thing to get right. I think I have weighted too heavy - more like a lot of WW2 tank models that you see!

Good luck on your build
