Hi there!
Inspired by this photo,

I decided to use the wonderful Masterbox set I had in my stash. I built the four figures with some minor alterations, like adding some details on the girls dresses.
The worn out/drunk "spiv" sitting by the lamp, is a conversion from an old italeri figure. The hat is scratchbuilt.
The building, cobblestones and sidewalk were made entirely from cork, balsa wood and some wall spackle.
The lamp is conversion from the one from Tamiya (I added the bulb and some details on the top)
Decals were homemade using the Testors decal system.
Hope you like the little scene. As always, your remarks / criticism will be very appreciated.
Cheers,
Pablo

Hi there!

@Dave and Zon: Thanks for your kind words, mates.

@Claude: I tried to use some dark shadows, especially on both american soldiers faces, but the camera flash hides them very well. Maybe I should go with a even darker tone. Thanks for your remarks, Claude!

Thanks for stopping by.
Cheers,

Pablo

Hahahahaha … this such a funny dio! I love it, the theme is great!! Where did you get the depressed figure? It’s really great … and somehow I knew it was gonna be this set from the title!

Looking forward to seeing more!

Hi there, Vlad!

Thanks for your comments.
The fellow sitting on the curb is a conversion from a really old sitting german figure, (italeri resting germans set). I used two components putty to make the trousers, the jacket details, hair and the tie knot. I also srachtbuilt the hat out of the same material.

Cheers.

Pablo
