Hi there!
After a long time without posting photos of my work, I share today a little vignette that I have recently finished.
It was inspired by this photo:

I called it "Waiting for the train - 1943".
For the soldier, I converted an old Italeri figure, using the head from the Tamiya's Jeep Driver figure, and a pair of boots from the spare box. For the overcoat collar I used two component epoxi.
The telephone booth and the suitcase are completely scratch built, using plastic sheets, balsa wood, and aluminum foil. The telephone is also scratchbuilt, except for the handset which I took from the spare box.
Here are the pics.
I am really looking forward to your comments.
Thanks for looking.

Cheers, mates.

Very nice. Different from the usual tank and soldiers standing around. Got to feel bad for the Guy waiting, he needs a cart for that over sized suit case and all that gear. Thank you for sharing....................Al

Thanks, Al. And, yes, poor fellow, carrying all that weight around.

Cheers.

Nice work Pablo!! The red on the base might be a bit too much, but otherwise I think it is good work. It really conveys the waiting.

Happy Modelling, -zon

Thanks, Zon., The red cloth is much less brighter than appears to be in the pictures. I think I went a little too far with the camera flash

Cheers.
