Thanks for your review. I would have liked to have seen at least one figure assembled and a few comments on assemble and quality of fit included though.

Andrzej may do a build of these figures at some time, which would then be linked from the review. Don't get me wrong...it would be nice to see these built to check the assembly and fit, the same as it would be beneficial to see the AFV kits reviewed as build logs.....but as an In-Box I have enough info to go off of between the text and photos.

For an In-box review it's fine (I didn't say the review was not useful), but personally I'd like to know more about the fit of the figures, as I like the poses, particularly that of the gun crew.

I'll remember to check at least one figure for fit/function characteristics in future reviews.
Usualy I don't glue whole figure before painting (it depends on figure but i.e. I like to paint head separately if possible) but it's not necessary to check if parts have good dry fit.

You're welcome, Andrzej. You don't need to glue the figure together though, even putting it together with poster tack/putty (like BlueTac) will give you and the reader a good idea of fit.

Just a minor point - there is no such range as 'Gen 1' all of THESE figure releases are DML's 39-45 series.

Im with you here, Rudi! I think that putting them together would make a real difference. Perhaps also identifying the timeline the figures are suitable for would be of use as well?

My mistake as well... but if you say one 2 you should say 1 as well (or something like that)
.The title suggests '43 so you can safely use this one for depicting '43-45 (at least for Germans).
@ James, did you really read my Historical Background part? I thought noone will and I was writing it just to kill time at work...

The Bersaglieri Regiment was an elite Italian infantry regiment; "marksman" is not really a good english translation of the term. They were theoretically intended to be the top infantry regiment in the Italian Army, something akin to the Ranger regiment in the US Army, but the concept became very politicized as with the rest of the Italian Royal Army (Regio Escercito).
