Interesting items, I like the Morris, the tin cans are unique, and look like a taxing exercise in patience and dexterity. But the figures....... quite frankly, dreadful, they really do need to look for better figure sculptors as the last few rounds of figure releases just don't cut it when compared to other resin figures.

I guess they should have done rectangular Spam cans instead - lot less effort!

I completely agree about the figures, they are NOT even close to the standards we've come to expect nowadays...

The figure standing holding the mirror is embarrassingly bad. The one with her foot on the cushion looks only marginally better.

PlusModel should stick to what they do best, i.e. diorama accessories.

I've done a couple of Plus Models vehicles and they build up well - the CS8 would be a great addition next time I get some spare dosh.

The figures look more like rugby players in drag ............

Except it looks like a remake of the movie with Walter Mathau and Ernest Borgnine...

Could be useful for an "It ain't half hot Mum" or "Allo Allo" dio

although the anatomy of the figure with the raised arm is all wrong

On Missing-Lynx someone suggested Will Ferrell. You be the judge

The sculptor must have skipped the art classes when the naked ladies came in!

Well, well...fast forward 10 years.

Finally broke down and ordered this little jewel of a truck from a supplier of Plus Models. Should fit right in with the Italian Cannone da 65/17 that I just found in the stash from Criel Model (forgot I had that little bugger). Combine the two and it should make an impressive Italian gun on a captured Morris. I'll take lots of hints to model this combination from the Squadron Signal book (2044) of Italian Truck Mounted Artillery.

The beast with the mirror is particularly nightmarish.

How could you look at the test shot and think, "Yes, these are ready for market."?

Agreed. Looks like some of my uncles from Italy instead of a couple women. Plus Models should stick to what they're good at, which is clearly not figures. Yikes.

Ok, ok, ok...I'll say it. I know some of you are thinking it. The one with the mirror reminds me of a politician that ran for office a few years back.

I think I'm gonna be sick now.

On a quick look the latest news with figures is from 2014 so I guess it has not been a successful range...

I wish to inform the gentlemen involved in this thread that the lady holding the mirror went on to have a very distinguished career on the Bulgarian national hammer throw team. After her career ended and the eastern bloc dissolved itself she decided to embrace her masculine side and now carries the title Mr.
Her friend chose wrestling instead, albeit not quite so successful. Nowadays she works as bouncer at a rather disreputable tavern in Sofia. When she approaches a rowdy table the guests immediately gets their act together, except those who are too drunk to be able to focus properly and they will soon be taking a close look at the pavement stones in the nearby back alley.
The 'thud' and 'splat' sounds as she goes about her business are legendary

Robin, my man...I'm glad you ranted instead of me!
