King Tiger Grills (self adhesive)

by: Vinnie Branigan [ TEACHER ]

introduction
A very quick look indeed at a new product from Eduard for that stash of King Tigers you have!

the set
The set consists of six photo etched grills for 1/35th King Tigers. Specifically they are intended for the Tamiya kits #35164, #35169. The grills arrive in a smaller than usual Eduard packet, with one-sided instruction sheet. They are contained on one fret, which is stuck to a small rectangle of greaseproof paper, since they are self-adhesive.

The patter, as you can see from the photograph, is well done, with the pattern being well produced. Since they are self adhesive, all you have to do is snip them from the fret and position them on your model. I like the concept! Very easy to apply!

conclusion
A zoom set from Eduard, that I'm sure will prove popular with anybody who still has the old King Tigers. A complete set of grills at a very affordable price. Recommended.

SUMMARY
Eduard have produced this set of grills as part of their budget 'Zoom' range, and it contains a full set of engine grills for the Tamiya King Tigers, and they're self adhesive too! Nice concept!
