Here is my in-box review of Rye Field Model's newest Tiger I. This is pretty much just the exterior sprues of the previous kit with some late suspension parts. It should be cheaper than the full interior kit if you want to get a 503 Tiger.

SUMMARY
Highs: Enough parts to build most early production Tiger I versions except for the tracks. Choice of early or late wheels.
Lows: Not much new, no interior detail.
Verdict: As long as it's affordable this is the best option on the market for a Fehrmann.

Why does the summary say "Enough parts to build most early production Tiger I versions"? It doesn't have the tracks for them. David

You know David I thought about that after I wrote it. I can put in a bit about the tracks, but as far as the hull parts it has some options.

Maybe I'm wrong but I don't remember a front sprocket like the one in the picture.

TopSmith, that's a later sprocket, there are a few in there. I think the box art is just an odd looking line drawing.

Depends on what you mean by "503 Tiger". The 503 operated quite a few Early Tigers and you can build some of them with this kit - if you obtain different tracks and decals for it. But if you mean the special Tigers with the unique turret bins, which the kit 5003 tried to represent (didn't quite get it right).... then this kit is not an exact substitute. As well as having the wrong tracks, it has also the later versions of the engine hatch and the rear deck grilles. David
