These three new items from plus models provide some interesting WW2 1/35th Accessories for the diorama modeller.
EL058 - 1/35th Chairs with armrests
EL063 - 1/35th Camera
450 - Wooden boxes for bottles
First up is the set of two chairs, the resin moulding represents some WW2 era chairs, but could easily be used in another period. The moulding is very crisp but will also require a degree of clean up due to the large amount of flash present. It is a slight shame that no texture is moulded into the seat cushions but this could easily be rectified.
Next is the Film camera. This really is very nicely presented, with the intricate legs of the tripod being very well detailed as well as the body of the camera itself. A useful item to have in the stash and could make a great point of interest in a diorama.
The final item is a sheet of wooden boxes designed for bottles. The real wood displays a high degree of detail, with the Coca Cola Logo being very nicely etched on the surface of some of the pieces.
All in all, these are another great set of diorama Accessories to add to Plus Models already impressive range. The mouldings are all top quality, that being said, many of the parts will require a careful clean up to avoid loosing any of the detail present.
Highs: All Items very detailed and well moulded. Some nice touches such as the Logo's on the wooden crates.Lows: Lack of texture on the seat cushions. Parts will require careful clean up to preserve the detail. Verdict: A Diverse and useful set of WW2 items,Plus Models continue to provide more quality diorama accessories for the diorama builder.
