introduction

The German armament industry produced a number of 2cm (20mm) weapons. The Flak 38 was developed as an anti-aircraft weapon as a single barrelled weapon and as a four barrelled version. The L/65 is primarily an anti-aircraft weapon but was found on a number AFVs.

review

This is a simple addition to any model, arriving in a small ziploc bag with a card header. Inside the ziploc bag there is a smaller bag containing the L/65 barrel and a separate flash hider. The flash hider is finely detailed and matches the flash hiders seen on the full size example.

The modeller will need to remove the existing barrel and then drill a pilot hole to accept the locating pin. The barrel is then glued in position and the flash hider can be added.

conclusion

This is a simple addition for many of the available 2cm (20mm) cannons that are widely available. The L/65 is primarily an anti-aircraft weapon but was found on AFVs such as the SdKfz 222.
