Definitely not armor, and probably more civilian in nature, the latest 1/35 release from Plus Model is interesting no matter how you categorize it. They are releasing a four-wheel drive Belorus Earthmover (number 338) plus several other items to spruce up your diorama.
If you Google the Belorus or Belarus series of tractors you will get a distinct impression that they are primarily agricultural in nature. Fortunately, Plus Model had gone beyond a basic farm tractor kit by including both a backhoe attachment with outriggers as well as a blade for light earth moving work. The kit includes a mind boggling 232 resin parts, rubber tires, photo-etched sheet, wires and decals for four variants. There are armor kits that don't even boast to have some of these features! One of the cab doors is open for more flexibility in your diorama.
Since Belorus tractors have been exported throughout the world, this would be an interesting diorama piece alone, but would also be a complement or contrast to the armor in your diorama. It would be feasible in a number of different geographical locations and settings for this tractor and a tank to be passing each other. I found a photo gallery that appeared to have a different model in use on a street somewhere in the Middle East. Use a little imagination and you'll put the tractor to good use.
Also being announced are the 1/35 City Blocks - Short, number 384, 1/35 Ladders - number 401, and 1/48 Chapelle - number 4044.
Thank you to Plus Model for getting this news to Armorama.
