ICM have just sent us the LATEST update on what should be one of company's 'stars' for the year - the Admiral Cabriolet in 1/35th scale.
Previously, thanks to the company's assistance, we've been able to bring you images of the CAD Drawings for the model, now, in very welcome update, we're able to open the box and give a detailed view of the sprues for the model.

The New Release by the company will be:

35471 – Admiral Cabriolet

More to follow as we'll doubtless be getting images of the finished model.

Our thanks to our colleagues at ICM Holding for the Update!

It looks as if everyone who wants a car in their diorama is going to have a very good year.

Just had the pleasure to see this in person at King's hobby in Austin tx The owner had the box open admiring the sprues and instructions, it was the last one. If I hadn't promised not to buy any kits that day I would have snatched it up! The model was just inspiring... It is now on my must have list. It looks superbly engineered and has more detail than a lot of the 1/24 full car kits. For example: the doors where in multiple parts , all injector pin marks where inside the door panels. You could easily model it doors open or closed, and with a minimum amount of effort you could make them workable. Comparing what these manufacturers are doing with ww2 softskins, they are starting to make a mockery of the big boys like tamiya.

I'm not sure how I feel about the frame being comprised of so many separate pieces, but I agree that this does look like it's going to be a really sweet little kit!
