Images of MiniArt's Latest Work-in-Progress in the form of a useful addition for Diorama builders.
The current W.i.P. is:

35061 - SOVIET FIELD KITCHEN PK-42

Consisting of 180 parts which include the Field-Kitchen along with the catering crew of 3 and a Soviet Infantryman (doing Oliver Twist impersonations?). This demonstrates, once again, the company's ability to see the kind of releases that modelers need.

Although the subject is Russian, with a change of personnel, it could equally be used by German troops - many of these were captured. Beute-Kitchen anyone?

Sure some of that cook's moustache ended up in the soup I like the infantry man with the puttees. I'll be getting this one.

Very nice. Miniart have released a very nice set here. The figure quality is exceptional in detail for plastic figures. A perfect little diorama . well done look forward to getting this one.

You can also combine russian "gulash kanone" and a cook (POW) with german troops holding mess tins...

A very nice model element for a diorama. the only thing that looks to be messing from the kit is some food supplies.

Wow! Very interesting kit! These russians are perfect to reinforce my german field kitchen /fileld bakery crew. Just need to give a "Im Dienst der Dt Wehrmacht" brassard to them...

I think its a very useful little item. Even if you never show ít as proposed on the box art, it would be a great filler for Eastern front dios. As MiniArt have a habit of doubling up their kits, there could very well be a "Beute-kitchen" yet, with German crew. It wouldn´t surprise me anyway.
