MiniArt Ltd. have just sent us notification of their latest WiP - A variant on an 'existing' theme.
Wnen Miniart Ltd. released their Dingo Scout Car in 1/35th scale, it was seen by many as a bold and very welcome move. Previously, the only model available had been the ancient Tamiya offering. However, MiniArt rather than 'resting on their laurels' have taken the basic model to the maximum by producing the Mark 1B, the Mark II and Mark III - in addition to producing the 'Beute' version which is widely documented. Now, the company have announced:

35087 - SCOUT CAR DINGO Mk.1a with CREW

This particular version is appropriate for the B.E.F. of 1940 along with widespread use in the early period in the Western Desert. With little modification it is also a widely-seen version used as a 'Trophy' vehicle by the Wermacht.

Not a radical departure, but nevertheless, a VERY welcome addition!

Our thanks to Miniart Ltd for the Update!

I haven't actually picked up one of the Miniart Dingos yey, but I like the figure leaning on his spade so I'll keep an eye out for this one when the model funds replenish....
