Recently a thread on Armorama , mentioned the future release of a Centauro in 1/35th scale. We are now able to confirm this and bring you images of the (revised/updated) Centauro in 1/35th scale while we wait for the new 'LONG' Centauro from Italian Kits....
Italian Kits are (as the name suggests!) an Italian producer of high-quality multi-media kits in 1/35th scale. The company uses the Corazzati as a trademark within the company. Recently they have revised their kit of the Centauro (1st Series) . Shortly they will be releasing a similar kit of the 'LONG' version, which if memory serves me correctly, includes additional armor on the hull, and most noticeably round the turret..

The current kit (illustrated here) is COR6. The kit includes 30 resin parts: complete hull, turret, 8 wheels + uncovered w.rim wheel + spare wheel, gun, turning bars, jerrycan & tentpacks; 115 metal parts, 2 photoetched sheets, decals, soft lead foil.

The forthcoming kit will include the following: Resin hull, turret, enlarged Michelin wheels + uncovered w.rim wheel + spare wheel, metal parts, 3 photoetched sheets with complete turret's armour side shields and hull plates, decals.

Amongst future releases, Corazzati are promising us are:

VCC1 Camillino complete kit (with Italeri wheels and track links) and 4 different p.etched armour-platings; Technica complete kit; SLC100 Maiale torpedo; Badoni Sogliola railway diesel engine with flat car (used in N.African and Italian fronts); Fiat Spa TM40 artillery tractor; Camion Bianchi Miles.

Corazzati/ Italian Kits have an excellent website, which can be seen: HERE
