Looks like a standard GS Rover rather than a WMIK - no guns fitted as standard.

This is great. I grew up in an old 109 Land Rover back in the late 60s and early 70s and have always had a soft spot for them. I bought a book a few years back called "Land Rovers in the Gulf" and now it looks like I'll get to use it. I certainly hope they do some older versions of the Rover. My Father who was with the British Army actually drove one of the "Series One" models way back at the start of the Korean War. He fell in love with it then and had one almost continually since. He finally gave the last one up a few years back...at 86 he's getting a little old to fight with the older transmissions. He steadfastly refused to even look at the newer models on the market saying a true land Rover shouldn't be comfortable or have complex British Electrics! He is a true believer of "Keep it simple stupid" Of course I'd like to see the whole line of Rovers, but that's wishful thinking I guess. Great stuff Hobby Boss!! [/quote] This is probably a good market opportunity for AA: lots of people won't buy the full AA kits because of cost but I expect they could very quickly and without huge R&D release up-grade/conversion sets to go with the HB plastic kits
