HardCorps Models have been featured on the news sections here on several occasions. Previously their products have consisted of decal sets or resin add-ons such as the additional Sherman armor which was their first release. However, this news moves HardCorps into a new dimension - introducing their first major conversion sets.....
Three new products will shortly be available from HardCorps, the first two for imminent release, the third is under development..

The two upgrade sets are for the Sherman. Both are for well-documented vehicles fom Iwo Jima. They are:

HX35001 M4a3 "COED" (Flame Tank)

HX35008 M4a3 "CALCUTTA" (Gun Tank)

Both sets will include wooden and concrete hull side armor, sandbag armor, water tank, five early spoked (plugged) road wheels, (these were mixed and matched with the stamped and solid style roadwheels), various small detail parts like some small wood strips (resin), rear hull phone box, new spare track storage rack, a tool box, new turret and fittings, dry transfer and vinyl markings, and in the case of "Calcutta", the printed plastic wading gear.

Now the important part of this news release... HardCorps are only producing as many examples as they receive pre-orders for. HardCorps ARE NOT asking for up-front payment, but when you confirm your order (in the next 30 days) you will be e-mailed when the item is ready and THEN pay for your order. In future products like this will ONLY be available on pre-order, this will give HardCorps the chance to produce a more varied range without the danger of over-producing...

PRICE OF THESE SETS IS ESTIMATED AT BETWEEN $50-60 EACH...

HardCorps can be contacted via their webiste, which can be seen HERE

The third product from HardCorps will be an M4a3 (WET) Late Production Turret, to correct the Italeri one. No release date has been announced yet but it will be included in future USMC Sherman Detail Sets....
