this looks very attracting both kit and price wise, but ive heard of some horror stories about the warpage in some of the neograde stuff, like the panther dozer. as soon as i can find a review ill decide on getting one as jumbos are my favorite tanks

I must confess to knowing nothing about this subject, but something about this conversion looks odd to me. It appears as is the resin hull sides and front glacis simply stick on top of the plastic base kit. Is this just sloppiness on the side of neograde, or should the Jumbo in fact have extra thick sides and front? The price is certainly attractive, but is this just because they have skimped on quality....

Rob: the actual M4A3E2 had an upgraded armor package similar to what you see in the Neograde kits. Thick hull, glacis plating, extra thick nose section and beefed up turret. On these kits, you'll have to fill the seams with simulated weld beading. My guess is that Neograde is offering this as an alternative to two other great kits already extant, the ones by Formations and Blast Models.

i have the blast models m4a3e2 conversion and its just absolutely beautiful apart from the broken/ warped 50. cal. looking at the neograde pics a bit more closley i can see a bit warping on the hull and glacis armor. edit : roy any chance of reviewing this kit, as i know you are quite the shermaholic

I am quite the Shermanaholic but seeing as I already own the Blast kit (and I agree with you -- what a GEM!!!), I wouldn't go out and buy the Neograde kit. I'm open to donations though.... LOL. (I got sent the Tasca Sherman III DV and while doing "first look" review, got started on the kit and am now almost done! Another distraction from my other kits !)
