A month or two ago, Xtreme Modelling launched a NEW series of low-cost booklets dealing with a variety of modeling techniques under the 'Black Star' label. Here's details of the latest.
DIORAMAS: CONCEPTS, COMPOSITION & IMPLEMENTATION is written by Joaquín García Gázquez & Javier Redondo. The book aims to introduce the basic ideas of diorama work using the following chapter headings:

0. Concept of vignette

1. The idea

2. Composition and distribution

3. Vertical elements

4. Compression elements

5. Symmetry and parallelisms

6. Considerations and Examples

7. Implementation of a vignette


Once again, as with the other booklet in the series, it consists of English/Spanish text, soft cover , A-5 format, 32 pages. The booklet retails at just 5.00€ and can be ordered directly from the publishers:
