Anyone who orders direct from Resicast will have been pleasantly surprised to find a nice little item included as a free gift with recent orders.

The free gift is a set of 3 x UK 14 man Dixie food containers.

These are not a promotional item but rather a nice gesture of goodwill by Resicast

They are not available separately. Whether you get them or not depends on their availability at the time of your order. Other custoners may have recieved a set of “early pattern fire extinguishers” which although included with Universal Carrier up date sets are not available separately.

Another item of news Graham Sellars from Resicast informs us of is that every year he has what he calls an “Open Door” at his workshop in Mons, Belgium.

This takes place on the Saturday of Tanks in Town and it is the opportunity to visit the small work shop, have a nice chat over some good local beer and various “home made nibbles” (courtesy of RESICAST) and also to go through his waste box and to take whatever takes your fancy (his waste box is full of left over parts, extra and not needed or poorly cast parts, various etching frets, …) There is also a very good discount on in stock items.

Tanks in Town (just Google to find the appropriate info) is a Military vehicle rally that celebrates the liberation of Mons and is held on the last weekend of August.

So if you haven't planned your summer holidays yet it might be worth thinking about including this on your itinerary.
