All of these releases and images have previously made there way onto the dedicated 1/48th scale Forums. However, it's not a bad thing to make space for a report on these releases.

There are three, New 1/48th scale releases coming from Tamiya in the next month or two. However, things are not what they seem to appear. Two out of the three are re-editions of vehicle kits from the Italian manufacturer SuperModel (which has some connection to Italeri). The third is a Tamiya production.

The New Releases are:

F32560 - GERMAN TANK DESTROYER MARDER III

F89778 - ITALIAN ARMORED CAR AB41 (ex-SuperModel)

F89782 - GERMAN 3TON 4X2 CARGO TRUCK Kfz.305 (ex-SuperModel)

In addition, the company recently released a LIMITED edition F117 Stealth fighter which includes a Humvee - expect to see this individually packaged sooner rather than later...

Fairly thin-pickings perhaps, but the Marder would (hopefully) indicate a 38 (t) later on. There's no indication (apart from a few unconfirmed rumors) that Tamiya is dropping 1/48th anytime soon and there's every indication its selling well in Asia with sales slower in Europe and the States.
