New update sets have just been announced by the Czech manufacturer PlusModel.
Beginning with the Engine compartments. Both serve the same function although the first is for the Italeri kit, the second for the (recent) Tamiya one:

301 - Engine Compartment Detail Set (Italeri) 45 Resin Parts & PE Sheet.

313 - Engine Compartment Detail Set (Tamiya) 35 Resin Parts & PE Sheet.

Finally, another MG Set in 1/35th scale:

041 - U.S. MG cal .30 17 Resin parts & PE Sheet.

Our thanks to PlusModel. for the Update!

So I'm assuming the engines are for the Opel Blitz?

As I said in the intro: So, yes, it's safe to assume that's what they're for...

Already built the Tamiya kit, but could likely find a reason to build it again for a different scenario. Would love to know if this makes the Lion Roar upgrade obsolete because it seems to include the bonnet/engine hood with louvers? The bits and pieces on the LR set can be worked around easily enough. Wonder what this one will cost?

I've never seen Anti Aircraft sights on a M1919A4, and found no evidence of them in US Infantry Weapons of WW2. Somehow I think their Fanciful. The M1919A6 looks well done though
