Information on Canadian markings and color schemes is out there - it's just a bit scattered so here's a new book from Progres Model Centrum which should help tie it together...
In my opinion, one of the best series of reference books is published by the Polish company, Progres Model Centrum. This is particularly true if one looks at their recent titles on the M4 in the Armor PhotoGallery series and recently, a trilogy on New Zealand armor & markings in their Armor Color Gallery.

Now, in the latter series, comes news of the start of more coverage, this time concentrating on Canadian color schemes and markings. The new book is:

ACG #4 - Camouflage & Markings of Canadian Armored Vehicles in World War Two

The book is written by Steve Guthrie and Barry Beldam and includes 20 Full-Color plates and 80+ Black and white photos.

It should be widely available from the usual specialist booksellers. If not many of the on-line retailers such as Jadar Model will be carrying it..

I commend this publisher for their excellent books on Commonwealth armor in WWII. I own the first two Progress books on New Zealand armor and have 4 more (now 5) on by want list. I do have two comments regarding ways to improve the product: First, white text on a black background looks very sharp but makes for hard reading on my aging eyes. Second, the pictures are generally very good to excellent but I would like to see bigger and sharper reproductions, if possible. The color plates and unit formation graphics at the end of the two books I own are excellent and exhibit both traits I seek--white pages with black text and big, clear illustrations. -Doug

These look live a very useful additions for modellers in general. There are at least 6/7 of these I'd like to get. Al
