With the steady release program of German Artillery in kit form, there still, however, remains a need for good reference material. Concord Publications have just announced a new title on that subject.

Within the company's 'Armor at War' series, Concord Publications have just announced:

7059 - German Artillery at War 1939-45 Vol.1 Written by Frank De Sisto with the color plates executed by Laurent Lecocq, the book follows the usual format of 72 pages. However, as usual, with this kind of book, the emphasis is on the images. The book contains 203 photos and a further 16 color plates. For those who require it, the book carries the ISBN 962-361-143-9

As to the scope of the book, it seems to be quite wide. All three aspects of artillery (AA, AT & Field Artillery) are being covered with this volume covering the follwing systems: 2cm FlaK30, 2cm Flakvierling 38, 3.7cm FlaK36/37, 3.7cm PaK35/36, 8.8cm FlaK18/36, 5cm PaK38, 8.8cm PaK43/41, 7.5cm I.IG18, 10.5cm I.FH18, 15cm s.FH18 and 21cm Mrs18. Captured 'Beute' Artillery is also documented.

No word on release date, but expect an availablity of late february/ march 2008.
