Good subject but poor execution on the figures. They're stiff and not at all realistic. Photos from the period show much less "heroic" street fighters.

Worth a discussion: A great sculpture, a skill many of us may envy. But the overall impression is „actors on a filmset“ to my humble opinion......

I agree with you guys. I love the subject. The Battle of Berlin was host to a lot of interesting gear. The unique mix of last ditch and perfected state-of-the-art equipment. I particularly like the rare Waffen SS Fallschirmjeager jump smock in Dot '44 "Erbsenmuster". The poses, postures and body language are confusing though.

They would more than likely be busy hanging "traitors" and "deserters" from the lightpoles.

The execution is too "Euro-pretty" for my taste; the poor sap with the P08 with shoulder stock sure drew the short end of the stick when it came to weapons. I would have greatly preferred at least an Stg 44 or two; maybe a K98 with scope, etc. Weird choices like the P08 combo don't increase their appeal in my eyes. Ya, I know "nag nag nag".

How about a sniper with Stg 44, equipped with scope, around-the-corner curved barrel, and IR packed!
