Robin I was told by Sabre that MBK USA (no relation) would be their official US distributor. However the big hobby shop in Louisville, Scale Reproductions, had not previously heard of MBK. So at the time I was still stymied on ordering the kit.

They have a B2B-site where they claim to have staff in the US, maybe that could be the answer? LINK Shipping to the US with DHL is 45 Euro but postage to the US is free if the purchase is over 450 Euros (just shy of $ 500). 450 Euros is a lot of money but maybe you could coordinate with others or make one big purchase instead of several smaller ones. Don't forget the customs et.c / Robin

MBK-USA is out of West Linn, OR. Mike Perales is the POC there, my boss at the hobby shop deals with him regularly. They also operate an eBay store where you can get the Sabre railcars at a nice price with free shipping. They also carry Riich, Ammo of Mig, AFV Club, Tiger Model, Rye Field, Takom, and Das Werk. We got a huge order in from them last week at the store (like 5K worth of merchandise).

Can you post an e-mail or web link to MBK-USA ??????? As of today MBK-USA doesn't seem to be listing the Sabre 80 ton flatcar - probably their stock has not yet cleared customs. All the listings that do appear on eBay are still shipping out of China.

Could also use direct/dealer/wholesale contact to MBK-USA to pass on to Local Hobby Shop. (Scale Reproductions - Louisville, KY and Hobbytown - Lexington, KY & Cincinnati, OH)

They don't maintain a website but like most maintain an active Facebook presence, LINK Like I said previously, Mike Perales is the POC there. My boss has been getting stuff from them about a year now and he's pretty happy with them. They have a good selection of stuff for distribution and good prices. Personally I have no horse in the race, I'm familiar with them because they're one of our distributors.

Having just picked up my copy of this kit from my LHS. (Scale Reproductions in Louisville, KY) I noticed one thing of particular interest: The display trackage can be built as either curved or straight track at the modeler's wim. (However, please note, the Sabre trackage does not come with the massive roadbed that Dragon and Trumpeter offer.)
