Hornet have announced some interesting new headsets: “defeated expressions” “wearing British WW1 field caps” and “triumphant, exulting faces” in 1/35 scale

While 1/35b scale kit figures' heads seem to be getting better and better there are still some figure sets that require an “upgrade.” One of the mainstay suppliers of aftermarket heads in 1/35 scale is Roger Saunder’s company Hornet & Wolf and here are some useful new sets from them.

HH26 5 bald heads with defeated expressions

HBH13 5 heads wearing British WW1 field caps

are down for release this month while

HH27 1/35 5 bald heads with triumphant, exulting faces.

H3204 5 more heads for 1:32/54mm figures

are set for release in December 2007.

These are the best resin heads on the market. Stunning.

Great sets Pat The laughing boys are very well finished, and don't look comical at all. As for the downtrodden, they look like me after playing football until 2am on the PS2... Seriously though, these will both find good use in my sculpts... Brad

They do look fantastic - but I've always held back from buying any in case they don't quite fit the sizes of bodies of my figures - are there any brands which they are too big/small in scale? And I don't mean the size of the neck-hole - more the comparative scale - I want to especially replace the heads on my HobbyFan figures... Richard

They should work, unless Hobby Fan makes Verlinden-style giants. I've used Hornet heads on Heller, ICM, Tamiya and Dragon figures without them looking out of place. David
