I have only seen pics of one at a military show...appears to be a prototype they are trying to sell.

Where have you read that the entire program is cancelled? While it appears that they are not proceeding with production with some of the proposed variants, the T-14 itself is still proceeding with production. This is based on perusing various internet sources, as well as Jim Kinnear's latest book from Canfora on the Armata. It is not intended to replace the entire tank fleet and upgrading of existing platforms will still occur.

It was announced at the end of July, '18 that they would not be persuing it any longer. T-14 Cancellation Article

See you and raise you: orders 132 T-14 and T-15 Still quite a lot less than the original program .... dezinformatsiya & maskirovka I think I want to build the T-15 with the 57mm even if it never was anything more than an industry proposal / Robin

Real or not, makes for an interesting vehicle... and if you read ‘War with Russia”, 2016 it would look good opposite Tiger Models Leo II Revolution II on the streets of Latvia in a “possible” scenario... of course, the Leo is driving pass the wreckage of the Amarta.

Actually, this article just confirms what I posted. It is not cancelled; they are still going to produce at least 100 T-14s and production will occur until 2020. And of course, who knows what happens after that.

What a nasty-looking beastie! Forgive my ignorance but is this the one that has been referred to as the Terminator? I can see why...
NOV 02, 2018 - 02:49 PM
I think the Terminator is another vehicle. There are a few different versions by different model companies (Trumpeter x 3, Zvezda x 2, Meng x 1, Tiger x 1). I don't know if it is in service .... / Robin

It is not yet known which versions of the T-15 will go into production, this BMP is at the stage of production tests, and some improvements will be made, as for the T-14. But the contract for the production of more than 100 tanks and infantry fighting vehicles on the Armata platform has been concluded, and a new plant is being built for their assembly at UVZ. The version with such a combat module AU-220M "Dagger" was shown for the first time at the exhibition Army-2018 this summer, that's how it looked there - LINK . After the first demonstration of the T-15 in 2015 with a combat module with a 30mm gun, many military experts said that this weapon is not enough for this type of IFV, which is probably why the machine now has a much more powerful module. The general trend is visible - a new self-propelled anti-aircraft gun 2S38 "Derivatsia-PVO" (https://www.flickr.com/photos/realhokum/albums/72157700625874004) is currently being tested on the basis of the BMP-3 chassis, which also has a 57mm combat module from the same manufacturer ("Burevestnik").
