Zebrano is preparing a model of the weird WWI Russian prototype of the Tsar-Tank, also known as Lebedenko tank.
With its twin 9m wheels instead of tracks, the tank had an unique design that soon proved to be a failure.

Zebrano shows here the main wheels, with a very nice detail.

Being the first time Zebrano is featured on this site, I take the chance to recommend you visiting their website, with a wide range of models and accessories at 1/35 and 1/72-

AAAAARRRGGHHHHHHH!!!!! WRONG SCALE! Sorry, I had to get it off my chest. I think I have calmed down now.... Congratulations to all braille scale modelers I am extremely jealous. I can only hope that someone does this in 1/35th, I don't think I could do scratch build. Those wheels ........ brrrr .... / Robin

Iíve seen a scratch built version in 1/35 on another site. Absolutely massive. A real show stopper if you can pull it off.

VERY nice indeed. Yup-seen a 1/35 build both online and in print (Military Modelcraft International IIRC)

I think it's the right scale if you don't have a lot of space at home

It would certainly create a mess with the shelf spacing in the display cabinet

Too cool! And yes, it would be humongous in 1/35th! Still, I'd like to see it eventually offered as no way I'd waste a year of my life scratch-building this beast! The spokes alone are daunting enough! It would be okay in 1/48 as an alternative.

According to the Zebrano website, it's the right scale, end of... "We cover 1/72, 1/43 and 1/35 scale, however the 1/72 scale is most common in military models, while 1/35 and 1/43 scales are more common in figurines." Despite that, there's quite a range of 1/35 resin accessory parts. Interesting selection of figure subjects, particularly in the 1:43 size, though quality seems a bit variable with some looking more like they are in the "toy soldier" category. Brezhnev, Honnecker, Gorbachev, Stalin, and an "engineer" that looks a lot like Ferdinand Porsche.
