Take a break from your armor builds with this upcoming diorama set from MiniArt.
From MiniArt's Historical Miniatures Series comes Assault of Medieval Fortress (72033). The kit builds a fortress and will include more than 50 figures and 8 horses in 1/72 scale.

Looks a lot nicer than Airfix's ancient "Robin Hood" castle!

Make for a nice little diorama with the siege equipment and ladders. Really could have used this when I taught medieval studies.

A single kit might represent the keep (a rather small one!), and inner courtyard, but you would need a much larger kit for the outer courtyard, to include stables, smithies, bakery, etc; etc. Maybe with extra add-on sets for walls and towers like Zvezda did.

It's more like a gate house. I'd use it with the curtain walls extending off base. Miniart sells the fortresses by themselves as well as a much larger castle kit.
