Fries Crane and more

Hauler has several new products for this month, including update photoetch sets at different scales and a 1/72 Fries 16t German crane

Apart from this kit, they introduce also at 1/72 an AEC Mk.III armored vehicle.

Also for 1/72 scale there are two new AFV photoetched sets:

HLH72071 ATF Dingo 1
HLH72072 Jeep snow chains

And two more updates for 1/48:

HLX48383 Police shield
HLX48384 Sturmtiger

Finally, there is a Fireplace at 1/35 with the code HLU35104

The crane was of tubular and girder construction, so to use PE on anything larger than 1/72 would be too thin, and wrong section shape. Even in 1/72, PE is actually too thin, but easier to build.

Seems hauler abit late releasing an atf dingo 1 p.e the kits hard enough to come by ive got too but took some time to gey ahold of them. Unless revell thinking of re releasing?

Agree with Biggles that PE isn't really going to look right even at 1/72; the stanchions do appear to be all tubular:

Are you sure this is 1/72 in any case? The Hauler site only shows 1/87 and 1/144 examples.

Really looking forward to anyone producing a good styrene version of this kit in 1/35 as I won't touch the resin version that I've seen so far. Brittle, warped & pricey!

Yes, it has been announced under 1/72 news and in fact the product code is HLP72022, their coding system uses the first two numbers for the scale.
