Takom is adding two new models to their 1/16 range with the Imperal Japanese Army Type 94 tankette in two versions.
The Type 94 tankette will be offered as the standard version and the late production one.

These kits feature a movable suspension and road wheel, photoetch details and both one piece and individual trank links.

The figure will be included as well.

FineMolds makes both the early and late versions in 1/35, and Spade Ace makes workable metal tracks. All are very nice.

I bought them for my two FM tankettes and they are really nice, and really tiny! That said, although I am a 1/35 builder, I may get one of these big kits, or both If Takom is considering more kits in this scale, I would like to suggest the CV-33 or CV-35

beginning countdown for the downscaled version, followed shortly by Meng releasing theirs.

Cool. Be great in that scale.

Fine Molds makes this in 1/35 so what is the outcry for another? FM kits always struck as being the definitive kit of any subject they tackle. Bronco makes the CV-33 in 1/16. Do you think there's that much of a demand for two kits?

I had completely forgotten about Bronco announcing a 1/16 CV-33 many years ago (to9gether with several Panthers, I recall), So that kit was actually released?

Will this kit have full interior ??

FineMolds kit no. FM19. Not cheap in Europe, probably.[/quote] The Fine Molds kit I have, of the Type 94, with the high idler, is identified as FM17, produced in 2001. Perhaps a later production run changed the kit number...
