There is a new HAWK anti aircraft missile system from AFV Club.
The kit brings a number of interesting features like the possibility of building either MIM-23A or MIM-23B versions, the Wing trailing-edges are movable and the Launcher posture is adjustable.

Moreover, ICU box may be built closed or opened in option and Outriggers can be built in transportation or emplacement mode.

There are decals provided for US Army during Cuba Missile Crisis, US Marine Corps on First Gulf War, IDF and ROC Army.

B/2/57 ADA, which was headquartered in Storck Barracks, Illesheim FRG from the '60s-1987(when the Army phased out HAWK systems) and was attached to 1st BDE 1st Armd Div., used M35A1s to move the M-192 Launcher. The battery was set up in the old Munasiedlung, located in the Frankenhohe, approximately midway between Illesheim and Oberdachstetten. It also used M501 mobile transport/loaders, from what I remember. B/2/57 had a dummy missile in front of its company HQ. Every so often, the nose cone would "disappear" and would be found in some odd place on post, like our barracks (1/6th INF) or, inside the NCO Club. The CO finally removed the missile in order to stop the happy horses**t.

What's the release date? Dad spent 20 years with I HAWK so definitely getting to do one with his last unit 1/65th 11th ADA. Also, great website on Hawks is Missiles of Key West.
