The new kit in progress from ICM Holding is a 1/48 German Sd. Kfz. 260, a Radio Communication Vehicle that was produced until 1943.
The Sd. Kfz. 260 was an unarmed variant of the Leichter Panzerspähwagen series, equipped with radio sets to communicate with aircraft.

The model has photoetch parts for the mesh cover, but seems to have no interior at all.

I would like to see this in 1/35.

I would also.

I'm starting to put the pieces together for a 1/35th scale build. This one is a little different than the ones in photos I've seen. So now I see three variations.

I agree on the 1/35th idea. Wonder how much kit bashing is necessary to cobble one together in the mean time...

re Start with a .223 late kid here and thet from Hobby Boss. There are two styles of cages atop. One is screen wire and the other is perforated metal. There is one box mounted on the back of most of them, plus some small ones here and there. Bing images is a good start Gary
