Bronco has informed us of their new model, a Humber Mk.III British armoured car.
With over 5.000 units built, the Humber was used by the British Army on several Second World War theatres like North Africa, Europe and India, and continued in service long after the war.

The Mk.III model featured a three-man turret, one of them being the radio operator.

This new kit has a full interior with engine, fighting and driving compartment, and turret. It comes also with photo etch details and clear part for periscopes and lamps.

Ooh I'm liking Bronco more and more. The Humber was a favorite Matchbox model :-)

Pretty cool! Can this be converted to the Canadian "Fox" carrier?
MAR 20, 2017 - 07:50 AM
no, not really. While they looked very similar, pretty much everything about the Fox was different than the Humber. Not just the chassis lengths and such, but the exact shapes and sizes of the hull and turret panels are all different. Even the small stuff like headlights and tool clamps are different being from Canadian sources. And I'm pretty sure the Fox used a .50 cal and .30 cal Browning instead of the BESAs. Paul

You are spot on about the American arms on the Fox.

Numbers are cool in a big, clunky way, especially the later variants with the Crusader turrets. Might have to get one of these.
