These are great subjects for dio builds, but didn't we just recently review this kit? Or was it another version of this vehicle? Hard to keep track after awhile...

It has been in the news threads so far, and pending release. No reviews as yet.

Complex trailer coupling? Almost certainly to permit cross-country articulation without disconnecting. However, the tractor-trailer combinations were effectively permanently coupled. Likewise the unusually steep angle of the trailer bed: off-road ground clearance. Almost uniquely, we wanted something that could get to broken-down tanks where they were in order to recover them, not just to move them around on roads. There was no ARV concept at the time.

Do we know for certain that a post war Explorer is coming ? _____________________________________________________________ It is on their website, scroll down on the homepage, they even have catalogue numbers. As to the trailer linkage, this is indeed for cross-country use.Strong and robust and permanently attached, unlike a 5th wheel it will come off but takes a lot of time and effort. It is why they are referred to as artics(as in articulated lorry)than semi-tractors in Britain It is not a question of wanting these kits, more how many I can afford.
