Legend Productions have a history of producing some unexpected products. This time around there is two new products hitting the market, one is for the M60 tank and the other takes care of the IDF.
The Israeli Defence Force offering for this release period is a set of IDF AFV Towing Horn/Chain set in 1/35th scale. This product is suitable for many periods and vehicles, these will add a nice touch to your build.

The big release in my opinion, coming from Legend Productions is an AVDS-1790 Engine & Compartment set I. This looks to be a very nice resin offering and being listed as set ONE indicates further additions or alterations to follow. This offering is specifically for the AFV Club offerings of the M60 and so if you wish to show your M60 power plant this product is for you.

This looks excellent, but I don't see the heat shield (gripe, gripe).

Have to agree. The shroud/heat shield is the first thing after the back deck to be removed, you cant pull the pack without taking it off, yet none of the engine kits include it. I'd love to see a kit with the shroud around the fans and over the tranny separate.

After we pulled open the grill doors, we pulled the heat shield first thing, that way we could disconnect the final drives. Anyway, should be easy enough to scratch build.

While I'm on roll, this appears to be a RISE pack. The generator intake is missing on the left side of the engine, which was present on pre-RISE packs. Compared to the Verlinden offering, however, this is a God-send.

Another amazing release from Legend. I love their work anyway but since I've spent a gazillion hours wrapped around engine packs like that one this is of particular interest. Way to go Legend! Fantastic detail. Jim LSA

Open the grill doors. Unfasten / remove exhaust elbows. Wish they would make the 2 compressors and air dryer and air tanks for an A2 with the CBSS...
